Matt is a founding member and principal of Crest Residential.  Matt oversees Crest operations including ground-up development, acquisitions, debt and equity capital market activities and asset management.  Matt also manages Crest’s day-to-day operations and back office activities.  

Prior to co-founding Crest, Matt was partner and director of operations and asset management at a prominent multifamily development group based in the Southeast.  In this capacity, he was actively involved in all aspects of the development process including site due diligence, debt and equity activities, project design development, company and property level operations and dispositions.  Matt has been involved in the development of more than 5,300 multifamily units with a total investment of approximately $685,000,000.

Matt received a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Alabama and also received his juris doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
